Join us for the 2nd annual event held in memory of Joanne Bjorkman, mom, wife, grandma, family and friend to so many. Joanne grew up on a dairy farm and raised beef cattle and loved the cows so much! She would wear this inflatable cow costume whenever someone needed a laugh or a giant hug. She wore it to work, she wore it to cheer up her grandsons, and she wore it to the assisted living facility to visit her father… hence the name Cowabunga! We knew with all of our hearts that we had to keep Joanne's legacy alive by helping others while spreading her love, laughs, smiles and cheer with others.

Get moving, your choice: Run, Walk or Ruck this 5k (3.1 Mile) course to benefit the Brainerd Lakes Pay It Forward Cancer Fund. New this year, you have the option to join in for the dinner/sunset cruise brought to you by Breezy Point Resort-Breezy Belle. Be sure to select that package deal during registration!
If you are not able to make the run but want to join for the dinner/sunset cruise that is an option also.
Donations are also accepted if you unfortunately can't make the event at all-we understand and appreciate the support from afar.
5:00 pm-5:45 pm:Onsite registration opens & Preregistered participants can check in and pick up shirts.
6:00 pm:Race Starts!
7:30 pm:Dinner Cruise Starts
9:00 pm-11:30 pm:Live Music by Doug Allen Nash (included with Dinner Cruise ticket)
Race starts and ends at Breezy Point Resort-map coming soon.
